A Russian bank improves its business model after experiencing Singapore's innovative ecosystem for finance

Challenges

One of the main objectives for the C-level and board members of a Russian state-owned bank was to enhance its open innovation strategy and plan to become a bank focused on first-class customer experience. It was thus important for participants to come to Singapore to experience first-hand several companies’ business transformation experiences, new business models in the financial services ecosystem and innovative customer strategies. 

Methodology

Together with a Swiss Business School, we organised twice a week-long expedition for participants to gain exposure to companies’ digital transformation journeys in the banking industry, fintech startups and keynote speeches. We also organised VIP dinners for the participants to meet with Russian innovators and entrepreneurs who shared the realities of successes and challenges in doing business in Singapore.

  • In-depth discussion and sharing with top leaders’ on how to accelerate digital transformation in different units of the bank
